Donnelly Group named as new principle sponsor of YFCU Rural Dispatch Magazine

THE YFCU has welcomed Donnelly Group as the principle sponsor of the Association’s official magazine Rural Dispatch for 2018. The new sponsorship begins with the winter 2018 edition which will be published in March.

Rural Dispatch was launched in 1996 to keep members of the Association up to date with all the news and latest events and also to highlight the sterling work the clubs carry out in their communities. The full colour 32 page magazine is sent to YFCU members three times a year with an estimated readership of over 10,000 per edition. Each magazine is filled with news from headquarters and YFC clubs across NI as well as a roundup of YFCU competitions and events.

YFCU President James Speers said, “We are delighted to have the support of Donnelly Group as principle sponsor of Rural Dispatch. The magazine has informed and entertained our members for over 22 years and this sponsorship will help secure its future. Our members and their families enjoy reading all the Association gets up to and it is a useful document for others outside of the organisation to get a feel for what YFCU is all about. We look forward to working with the Donnelly Group team and welcome them on board as supporters of the Association.”

Operating from eight locations across the Province and offering new vehicles from an incredible 19 manufacturers, Donnelly Group is the largest family owned new and used vehicle dealership in Northern Ireland. The Group, which employs over 700 people, sells more than 18,000 vehicles a year.

Dave Sheeran, Managing Director, Donnelly Group, commented: “Since Donnelly Group was founded in rural Co Tyrone more than 70 years ago, we have been rooted in the farming community. We are therefore delighted to become principle sponsor of Rural Dispatch, which very much feels a natural home for us.

“As one of our most important and loyal customer bases, we make it our business to understand the particular needs of farmers, from getting around the farm, transporting crops, goods and livestock or travelling to pick up supplies.

“Our showrooms, conveniently placed at eight locations across Northern Ireland, including Ballymena, Belfast, Dungannon Moy Road, Dungannon M1 Complex, Eglinton, Enniskillen, Newtownabbey, Omagh, offer a wide range of 4x4s and pick-ups, perfectly suited to the personal and business needs of the farmer.”

The next issue of the magazine will be posted to members in March. Previous copies can be read online at www.yfcu.org/rural-dispatch-magazine.
