St Michaels Running Track, located at Enniskillen Running Club, has benefited from funding for the Donnelly Foundation, used to purchase training equipment for developing junior running club members.
The club, which is affiliated with Athletics Northern Ireland, has been supporting runners for over ten years, providing training for junior and senior runners alike.
The equipment provided by Donnelly Foundation, a charitable fund established by leading local vehicle retailer Donnelly Group, will be used by the club’s junior runners who compete on a regular basis throughout Northern Ireland and further afield.
Roisin Donnelly, spokesperson for Donnelly Foundation, said:
“Donnelly Foundation was established with the aim of supporting the local community and improving the impact of our charitable donations, events and initiatives.
“Amongst a host of worthwhile projects, Donnelly Foundation focuses on supporting initiatives and clubs that promote a healthy lifestyle and habits, especially amongst the young people within our communities. It is therefore a great privilege to support the athletes from Enniskillen Running Club as they prepare to compete in the coming year.
“It is our hope that this new equipment at Enniskillen Running Club will encourage more people to sign up and experience the benefits of physical fitness and club camaraderie.”
In addition to supporting the Enniskillen Running Club, Donnelly Foundation has also sponsored new sports kits for St Patricks Primary School.
With a showroom on the Irvinestown Road, Donnelly Group has demonstrated its genuine commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.

“We continually strive to build confidence in our young people and nurture the talent of all our members.
“This injection of funding will go a long way in advancing our training programmes, particularly for our junior runners who often compete both regionally and nationally.
“We are extremely grateful for the funding received by the Donnelly Foundation as it has allowed us continue to offer quality training to our current members whilst expanding our capacity to invite more people from the community to join our running club.”
