The Donnelly Group Training Academy was launched in 2017.The Academy supports all employees with a training plan specific to their role and their career development.
This begins with a comprehensive onboarding session followed by a training needs analysis and subsequent career development plan. Every employee has the opportunity to develop their career within the company, succession planning for the future at Donnelly Group.
Donnelly Group also offer dedicated in-house training programmes, as well as manufacturer training programmes and encourage colleagues to achieve their full potential within the industry.
Apprentice programmes are also available to 16-24 year olds at our approved IMI (Institute of Motor Industry) training colleges across Northern Ireland.These programmes have an annual intake each September, with applications welcome from May each year. Each apprentice is employed by Donnelly Group on the basis of ‘earn while you learn’, and are paid in full time capacity (including the training days at the college) Apprenticeships are supported by a mentor with a continuous appraisal system from both Donnelly Group and the training college.
