Pupils at St Patrick’s Primary School, Derrygonnelly, have received new sportswear kits thanks to a generous donation from Donnelly Foundation.
Created with the aim of enhancing the local community, Donnelly Group Foundation supports a wide range of projects including schools, sports teams, charity initiatives and educational campaigns.
Roisin Donnelly, spokesperson for Donnelly Foundation, said:
“Supporting the communities in which we operate is central to what we do, and being able to provide St Patrick’s Primary School with new kits is an effective way that Donnelly Foundation positively impacts local children.
"Sport plays a crucial role in the development of young people, teaching them valuable life skills such as teamwork, perseverance and resilience.
“It is wonderful to have been able to provide students at St Patrick’s Primary School with new sportswear that we hope will help boost their performance and foster a sense of pride in their school and community."
Since its launch in 2019, Donnelly Foundation has supported numerous projects including the Eco Committee at St John the Baptist PS, Roscor, and the Nurture Room Project at St Kevin’s College, Lisnaskea.
