LUXURY INTERIOR

The interior of the all-new PEUGEOT 508 GT PLUG-IN HYBRID features a Nappa Mistral full grain leather interior.

ELECTRIC MODE INDICATOR

To help with accessing restricted circulation zones, a cyan LED at the top of the windscreen – visible from outside – lights up when the all-new 508 PLUG-IN HYBRID is in electric mode.

HYBRID BADGE

The special dichroic HYBRID badges on the saloon's rear and sides show that it is part of the PLUG-IN HYBRID universe.

PLUG-IN HYBRID ENGINES

To produce the maximum combined power*, PLUG-IN HYBRID technology brings together:

  • A 132kW/180hp PureTech petrol engine
  • An 80kW/110hp electric motor
  • The new e-EAT8 8-speed electric automatic gearbox

*165kW/225hp driving

300 V LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

  • The battery's 100% electric range is 39 miles WLTP^
  • Its capacity is 11.8kWh.
  • The high-voltage battery is installed under the rear seats, without affecting the car's spaciousness or boot volume.
  • The e-SAVE function lets the driver set an electric energy reserve*, to be used when desired during the trip. For instance, this function means you can keep an electric energy reserve for an upcoming restricted low emission zone.

*The reserve can set aside power for 6 miles, 12 miles or the entire battery.

CHOICE OF DRIVING MODE

  • Electric: All-electric up to 84 mph*
  • Sport: uses all the power of the electric and internal combustion engines for maximum performance.
  • Hybrid: switches from electric to internal combustion to optimise the use of these power sources.
  • Comfort: allies the HYBRID mode and the comfort of the controlled suspension**.

Full-electric driving is available in all these modes, depending on the battery's charge level and type of driving.

*Electric mode is selected by default when starting the car
**Only available with the variable damping (AMVAR). Standard, optional, or not available depending on the version

The charging flap is on the car's left rear left wing*.

The charging cable is easy to stow away in a specific space under the boot floor.

To have the full driving capacity in all-electric mode (33 miles WLTP^ / 40 miles NEDC^) and enjoy the fuel consumption savings of a plug-in hybrid, the battery must be fully charged.

*Symmetrical with the fuel flap

^ Full MPG, C02 and electric range legals can be found at the bottom of this page.

The charging flap provides a courtesy light, information on the charging status, and locking of the cable into the vehicle when the vehicle is locked.

The battery charging time depends on the power of the charging point and of the charger*.

*On board charger power – standard 3.7kW, optional 7.4kW.

CHARGING FROM A DOMESTIC SOCKET

You will need to buy an accessory cable if you wish to charge from a domestic socket, as we do not recommend this as a daily charging solution.

  • 0 - 100%: 5 hours charge time at 2.3kW

ACCELERATED CHARGE

Charging from a Type 2 (Mode 3) dedicated electric vehicle charging point is the recommended way to charge your vehicle on a daily basis.  This cable is provided as standard with the vehicle.

  • 0-100%: less than 4 hours charge time @ 3.7kW with the standard on board charger
  • 0-100%: less than 2 hours charge time @ 7.4kW with the optional upgrade on board charger

CHARGE AT A PUBLIC CHARGING POINT

The majority of public charging points in the UK are Type 2 sockets, which will charge your vehicle at the accelerated charge times listed, depending on the power of the charging point and your on board charger.

MPG, Co2 & Electric Range Legal Statement

^The fuel consumption or electric range you achieve, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors: including the accessories fitted (post registration), variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load. There is a new test (WLTP*) for fuel consumption, CO2 and electric range figures. However, the CO2 figures shown are NEDC equivalent, calculated using EC correlation tool which converts WLTP figures to NEDCeq** figures and will be used to calculate tax for first registration. Figures shown are for comparability purposes; you should only compare fuel consumption, CO2 and electric range with other vehicles tested using the same technical standard. The all-new 508 HYBRID is a plug-in hybrid vehicle requiring mains electricity for charging. The figures displayed for this vehicle were obtained using a combination of battery power and fuel. Information correct at time of issue.

*WLTP - Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure. **NEDCeq - New European Driving Cycle.
