The New Transporter topped the ‘Most Reliable Van Survey’, taking over from its predecessor, the sixth-generation model, which took the crown in 2024. The latest model delivers relentless workhorse abilities, while also providing comfort and technology to its cabin occupants.
Lining up alongside the Transporter, the Caddy also featured in the top 10 most reliable vans.
VWCV also kept top spot in the ‘Most Reliable Van Maker’ category – the second year running – outperforming its rivals across key criteria.
The prestigious FN50 Awards, celebrating achievements from across the UK’s fleet sector, are recognised as an industry excellence benchmark. The awards were presented at the annual dinner, held in Westminster on 4 November.
Craig Cavanagh, National Fleet Manager at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, commented:“We’re delighted to have been recognised as the most reliable van manufacturer by the FN50 Awards, in addition to the New Transporter ranking as most reliable van. The safety, comfort, and confidence of our customers is always a top priority, and we are pleased to see this dedication is seen and acknowledged by our fleet customers.”
