Donnelly Group is celebrating after a fourth member of its award-winning team received the prestigious Volkswagen Gold Pin for outstanding services to and commitment to the brand.
Lesley Ann Cunnah, Site Director at Donnelly Group Volkswagen in Eglinton received the honour, in recognition of her dedication to the manufacturer’s commercial vehicles, at a glittering ceremony in London earlier this month.
Very few Gold Pins are awarded by Volkswagen with Lesley Ann joining of a group of just four within the Volkswagen Commercial Vans franchise to receive the accolade this year across the whole industry.
Lesley Ann said:
“It was a tremendous honour to be nominated and I am just delighted to receive the coveted Gold Pin from Volkswagen. It really is a reflection of the hard work of the entire team at Donnelly Group Volkswagen and the Volkswagen Van Centre in Eglinton, proving that we really are setting the gold standard for customer service.

Individuals are nominated for the Gold Pin award as recognition of their services to and dedication to the Volkswagen brand.
Lesley-Ann is the fourth employee from Donnelly Group, Northern Ireland’s largest family owned new and used vehicle retailer, to receive the accolade, following Terence Donnelly, Executive Chairman; Paul McMulkin, Volkswagen Head of Business, Enniskillen and Christine Dynes, Brand Manager Volkswagen Van Centre, Dungannon.
With almost 20 years in the motor industry, Lesley Ann joined the Donnelly Group in 2013. She has spearheaded the growth of the business in the north-west, overseeing the construction and opening of a new Donnelly Group Volkswagen showroom.
Speaking at the ceremony, Carl zu Dohna, Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK, congratulated the winners.
He said:
“Huge congratulations to all the Van Centres and authorised repairers who won an award – it’s an outstanding achievement. It takes a real team effort to make it happen.
“Currently, less than one per cent of our people have received a gold pin. It’s a highly regarded award that goes to those among us who live and breathe our values every day.”
Donnelly Group sells more than 15,000 vehicles annually from locations across Northern Ireland including Dungannon, Belfast, Enniskillen, Omagh, Eglinton, Ballymena and Mallusk.
