Citroën has unveiled the all-new C5 Aircross, completing its full model range renewal in under two years. Positioned as the brand's flagship SUV, it introduces a bold new design, cutting-edge comfort, and advanced electrified powertrains to the mid-size SUV segment.
Built on the new STLA-M platform, the second-generation C5 Aircross features a sharper, more aerodynamic silhouette, a wider stance, and refined styling elements like Citroën's new 3-point light signature and Matrix LED headlights. The platform enables a longer wheelbase (2,784mm), larger wheels (up to 20 inches), and improved aerodynamics, contributing to greater efficiency and interior space.
Inside, the C5 Aircross focuses on passenger comfort, with lounge-like seating, upgraded Citroën Advanced Comfort® seats, ambient lighting in eight colours, and a massive new Cascade touchscreen infotainment system. Rear passengers benefit from reclining backrests, USB-C ports, and expanded legroom, while boot space remains among the best in class - even on electrified models.
The C5 Aircross offers a comprehensive powertrain line-up:
All versions offer multiple drive modes, regenerative braking, and efficient charging (DC fast charging as quick as 27 minutes from 20-80%). The electric versions also support features like heat pumps, bidirectional charging (V2L coming in 2026), and connected EV route planning.
Driver assistance tech includes Drive Assist 2.0 with semi-autonomous features, extended blind spot detection, rear traffic alerts, and a new driver monitoring system. A 10-inch digital cluster, augmented Head-Up Display, and ChatGPT voice assistant round out the high-tech experience.
Manufactured in Rennes, France, the C5 Aircross integrates recycled and bio-sourced materials throughout its build. It will go on sale across major European markets in the second half of 2025.
