To kick off its centenary year, Citroën unveiled an exclusive Collector's Edition, which is, available on several models in the range: C1, C3, C3 Aircross Compact SUV and New C4 Cactus Hatch. The Collector's Editions will be launched in first-half 2019, paying homage to 100 years of creativity and boldness. The Collector's Edition models boast character, purity and elegance, featuring harmonious colours and materials with touches of a special bronze shade echoing the gear-cog design as well as a “Origins since 1919” signature. Each model is also fitted with contemporary equipment inspired by customer uses.
Boasting over 100 years of creativity and high standards, Citroën has always honoured its heritage by disrupting automotive cues and redesigning the automobile. To celebrate its centenary, Citroën unveiled an Origins Collector’s Edition in January 2019 on C1, C3, C3 Aircross Compact SUV and New C4 Cactus Hatchback. These Origins Collector’s Edition models uphold Citroën’s product identity with a strong styling language as well as embodying the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme.
The special editions, the C3 Aircross Compact SUV and the C4 Cactus Hatch, from the ‘Origins’ Collector’s Editions have gained special colours and materials which echo the brand’s past and feature exclusive customisation inside and out. Special features on these models include exterior customisation with bronze coloured highlights and a nod to the original chevron logo. The models are available with the following styling:
• C3 ‘Origins’ Collector’s Edition: A choice of Polar White or optional Cumulus Grey, Platinum Grey or Perla Nera Black body colours. Paired with a Black roof and 17-inch Black ‘Cross’ alloy wheels. A special ‘Origins’ Colour Pack with bronze fog lamp and Airbump® panel surrounds, as well as decals showcasing the Citroën centenary ‘Origins’ logo on the door mirror housings and roof pillar. The model also features an ‘Origins’ logo sticker underneath the rear view mirror and a graphic decoration on the boot. Inside, the scheme continues with the new ‘Origins’ interior ambience: Heather Grey and black seat upholstery with white highlights and a soft-touch dashboard trim with a bronze surround.
• New C4 Cactus Hatch ‘Origins’ Collector’s Edition: A choice of Polar White or optional Cumulus Grey, Platinum Grey, Obsidian Black or Pearl White body colours. This model also benefits from the ‘Origins’ Colour Pack with bronze fog lamp and Airbump® panel surrounds, complemented by ‘Origins’ decals. 17-inch Black ‘Cross’ alloy wheels bring a striking look which is consistent with the ‘Origins’ range. The exclusive ‘Origins’ ambience again adorns the inside, bringing dynamic style to the standard Advanced Comfort seats.
The ‘Origins’ versions of C3 and New C4 Cactus Hatch are available to order now, and will be launched in March 2019. The ‘Origins’ versions of C1 and C3 Aircross Compact SUV will open for orders in March, and will be launched in June 2019. Full details of these models will be available in the spring.
• C3 Origins Collector’s Edition: based on the Feel trim level, the versatile city car gains further equipment including: a reversing camera, Citroën Connect Box with the SOS Pack and assistance included, Citroën Connect Nav on a 7-inch touchscreen, electric rear windows, the Safety 2 Pack including Active Safety Brake, Driver Attention Alert, Collision Risk Alert, automatic lights and an electrochromic rear-view mirror.
• New C4 Cactus Hatchback Origins Collector’s Edition: based on the Feel trim level, the ultra-comfortable hatchback also features: Citroën Connect Box with the SOS Pack and assistance included, Citroën Connect Nav on a 7-inch touchscreen, the Mirror Screen function, electric-folding door mirrors and Advanced Comfort seats.
