DRUMRAGH GAA CLUB ENJOY SEATING AREA SPRUCE UP THANKS TO FUNDING FROM THE DONNELLY FOUNDATION

Drumragh GAA club, based at Clanabogah, Omagh, has benefited from new picnic benches for its outdoor seating and spectating area as a result of financial support from Donnelly Foundation.

The progressive Junior Football Club has gone from strength to strength in recent years, investing heavily in facilities while increasing its membership to become one of the biggest GAA Clubs in Tyrone.

Roisin Donnelly, spokesperson for Donnelly Foundation, said:

At Donnelly Foundation, we are passionate about making an impactful difference to the lives of the people in our community.

“This impact can come in variety of ways, and we were delighted to be able to respond to Drumragh GAA Club’s need of an outdoor seating area, with the hope that this encourages more people to attend matches and events.

“We continue to champion community development and an adequate outdoor seating area is a means of facilitating the coming together of the club and wider community.”

Donnelly Foundation, which was launched by Northern Ireland’s largest independent motor retailer, Donnelly Group, in 2019 has supported nearly 30 projects to date.

Oliver McGale, spokesperson from Drumragh GAA club, said:

“At Drumragh Sarsfields, we are extremely proud of how much we have grown as a club in recent years as we continue to draw in members from Clanabogan and surrounding areas.

“This growth would not be possible without funding, and the generosity of Donnelly Foundation is a testament to how much meaningful impact local businesses can make.”
