Now in their 13th year, the awards highlight the best vans for small and medium-sized businesses, judged by a panel of industry experts.
The Renault Master stood out with three major wins: Best Large Van, Best Large EV Van, and the overall Business Van of the Year title. Judges praised its comprehensive updates, enhanced technology, and improved efficiency across all powertrains. The all-electric Master E-Tech impressed with its 285-mile range and strong load capacity.
Andrew Charman of Business Motoring said the Master’s upgrades made it a standout, while the E-Tech version showed major improvements across the board.
The Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric also secured a win in the Best Small EV Van category. Judges noted its segment-leading range of up to 186 miles, flexible interior, and fast charging ability, reaching 80% in around 43 minutes. Andy Picton of Glass’s praised its practicality, noting its availability in two lengths and crew van format.
The Master continues to deliver for businesses with load volumes from 11 to 20 cubic metres, wide-opening side doors, and a payload capacity that meets a wide range of commercial needs. The electric version includes a 105kW motor and 87kWh battery, with a 130kW DC charger adding 142 miles in just 30 minutes and full AC charging in under four hours.
The Kangoo E-Tech electric offers a payload of up to 764kg, 4.2m³ of load volume, and 1,500kg of towing capacity, making it a strong contender for small business fleets.
Pricing starts from £33,500 plus VAT for the Master, or £37,500 plus VAT for the E-Tech after the plug-in van grant. The Kangoo E-Tech electric starts from £27,350 plus VAT after the grant.
