The Donnelly Group, Northern Ireland’s largest family owned motor retailer in Northern Ireland, has appointed a new managing director.
Dave Sheeran joins the Donnelly Group from Opel Ireland, where he was Managing Director and brings with him 30 years of industry experience across Sales, Marketing and Aftersales in the UK and Europe.
He will be responsible for leading the more than 720 employees that make up the Donnelly Group, which includes Donnelly and Taggart, across its eight locations in Northern Ireland incorporating 18 manufacturers including Fiat, Honda, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.

The Donnelly Group was founded in 1947 by Terence and Raymond’s father Peter Donnelly when he opened a vehicle repair and taxi business in Caledon, County Tyrone.
The group, headquartered in Dungannon, has grown significantly over the decades.
With eight locations in Ballymena, Belfast, Eglinton, Enniskillen, Newtownabbey, Omagh and its Moy Road and M1 Complex in Dungannon, the Group offers new vehicles from many of the world’s leading car and van manufacturers as well as 1,200 used cars at its six Motorstore locations across Northern Ireland.
