The new Citroën Berlingo van has been named ‘Small Van of the Year 2019’ by Company Car and Van magazine. This is the fourth award received by New Berlingo Van within the first few months of its launch. Design, practicality and low fuel consumption were all highlighted by the Company Car and Van judges.
The Company Car and Van magazine has awarded the new Citroën Berlingo Van with ‘Small Van of the Year 2019’.
“The new Citroën Berlingo van is well built, well designed, comes with frugal engines, is tech friendly and highly practical”, explained Company Car and Van Editor, Andrew Walker.
The new Berlingo van is available in two lengths, M and XL, with payloads between 667kg and 1,050kg, depending on the model. Load volume ranges from 3.3m3 and 3.8m3 for M and XL models respectively and can be extended further with the EXTENSO® folding passenger seat.
X, Worker, Enterprise and Driver specifications are available, with standard equipment including remote central locking with deadlocks, full steel bulkhead, electric front windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, automatic headlights, DAB radio, Bluetooth® connectivity, Citroën Connect Box with Emergency and Assistance System, unglazed rear asymmetric doors, six tie-down hooks in the load area and an overhead storage shelf in the cab.
Among the innovations available on the new Berlingo Van there is also Surround Rear Vision technology, Colour Head-up Display, Active Safety Brake, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Overload Indicator, and front, rear and side parking sensors.
The new Citroën Berlingo van was voted International Van of the Year 2019 last autumn, and in December was the winner of both the Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year and Light Van of the Year trophies at the 2019 What Van? Awards.
