Formula Fashionista

22/09/2011

In one of the car world’s most exciting and stylish collaborations, the house of Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini this year joined forces with Centro Stile Fiat to launch the fabulous Fiat 500 by Gucci, a luxurious and innovative fashionable car which oozes style and which will no doubt become the fashionista’s choice for four wheels this year as it arrives at Donnelly Fiat in Mallusk, Northern Ireland.

The collaboration celebrates 150 years of Fiat and 90 years of Gucci and represents a perfect synthesis between two globally known Italian brands. Both brands stand for attention to detail, quality of materials and workmanship and an overall belief in simple, yet refined elegance - and this comes across in both the interior and exterior details of the car’s finish.

Available in superlative black or white – coloured with paint containing glass beads to make the surface bright and shiny, like a brand new Gucci handbag, the familiar red and green Gucci stripe also runs around the car’s perimeter to give a distinctive Gucci feel. But that’s not all; the details in the keys and even on the fabric and leathers in the interiors – which are embellished in the ‘Guccissima’ double G logo - as well as the Gucci signature on the tailgate, all add up to give a feeling of luxury, glamour and contemporary car design.

And now that Donnelly’s has signed the sophisticated new model up to become the official car of Belfast Fashion Week, the models are getting ready for their close ups – the new Fiat 500 by Gucci models that is!
